Mastery is a bit tricky, for Fire and Ice it increases the damage bonus (Burn bonus damage for fire and shatter bonus damage for ice) as for delerium and corruption it increases the damage dealt while beserk (delerium) and the number of bugs that survive when the host dies (corruption).
Control increases the duration of DOTs (damage over time) effects of your offensive and some debuffing spells whilst also increasing the radius of Delerium. We'll start with a quick explanation of the iventory, Sigils are essentially schools of magic (ie Fire, Ice, Defensive, Corruption, Delerium) Shapes are what determine the type of spell it is (ie, projectile, barrier, area of effect) and augments are what effects the spell gives (Destruction, Control, Mastery.) I've lost track) and basically I like the game a lot it's very very very speshull (das right) and I figured I'd create a post for those that want some advice on crafting spells and how to (in my style of play) go about crafting your spells.
